Here's a bit of Friday fun . . . climbing to the top of a wind turbine. Although our Wild Horse Wind and Solar Facility has a great visitor's center, climbing inside the turbine isn't part of the tour. Apparently, it makes risk and claims just a little nervous . . .
But this video at YouTube was put together by PSE to show what our maintenance and operations people do everyday out at Wild Horse and our Hopkins Ridge Wind Facility.
Enjoy, and as a committed acrophobe, I will confess that the video is as close as I will ever come to climbing a turbine!
